Started cleaning the inside of the windscreen and fitted my Blackvue 750 dash cam and got it all working, date and time set. Only a temporary wiring job but then I don't know how much longer I'll have the car. Need to adjust the impact settings, it's picking up road bumps and entering/leaving the driveway as impact events.

Headlights seem brighter :D

Whilst cleaning the windscreen I hit the registration sticker plastic pocket and it disintegrated so I'll have to get one of those in the morning too now.

I am undecided about having the vehicle speed displayed on the videos......

I might need to take the 5th!

Bugger, thwarted by the weather. Was on the 3000grit stage but it's started to spit and this stage is done dry.

MY poor old shoulder has also given up the ghost and the strain has pulled right up into my neck. Time for another break, some panadol and a coffee. And read the instructions on my new dash cam (Blackvue750).

I'm using the Mothers head light kit, I think the 3rd time I've used it.

Comes with 800, 1500 and 3000grit pads and polishing compound of some sort you use with a polishing ball (also in the kit).

Not yet but I have some RainX plastics that I'm going to try on it. First time using that product. So I'm hoping it does both, seal it and work like the RainX stuff for the windscreen.
Best thing I use for the one headlight that is 17 years old is autosol metal polish with a wet rag.
Was $9 for a tube that I have had for about 8 years and still 1/3 left.
About $13 now I think.
Brings it up fantastic in 5-10 minutes.
By all means use the 3000 wet and dry first.
And yes I know there is an acrylic autosol but never used it, only the metal polish for the headlight, and any chrome bits on the car.

On another note I finally bit the bullet and started the cut and polish of the 17 year old VZ with a tin of kitten # 2 which I have had in the cupboard probably since the 90"s, and yea, still good but ran out so gotta get more tomorrow.
Other than regular wash it has had no external love for about 4 years.
But coming up good now.

And for your shoulder use this.

https://www.activeherb.com/zhenggushui/

Rub on the shoulder every morning and night.
Do not rub your eyes or any other touchy bits while it is on your hands.

Might take a month or 2 even 3 but it will work to get rid of the pain and actually rejuvenate the problem area.
I usually buy 6 bottles at a time as we both use it.

FWIW both my biceps are torn from the shoulders and both shoulders have severe bursitis but very little pain, as in none if I am not working them to death with polishing a car.

Finished the other headlight this morning and gave em both a coating of the RainX stuff. Also did both the front and rear windscreen and finished cleaning the inside glass.

Now to get ready for a roadie.

Today I found out that the battery in the SS is fine after 42 days of sitting.
I really thought I had the charger on but I was wrong. No harm done this time though.
