Hope this doesn't go any further but I broke the law on Sunday. I took the vh for a 60 k run on Sunday. Going to my destination and on the way back I overtook 3 cars at a time (they were nana driving). I had to get up to about 101 kph overtaking them. I think it was safe but others might not. I haven't been contacted by the cops so I might have got away with it. Fingers crossed.

One of the greatest inventions has been cruise control. I am sure I would have spent a bit of walking instead of driving without it. I possibly don't spend all that much time driving the vh so it possibly doesn't warrant it.

I got a flat tyre on my wagon this morning... Didn't get the torque specs for the wheel nuts off here before I did the wheel nuts up on the spare and I drove to and from work without checking them...

I changed the starter motor … and didn’t use a torque wrench for any of it.
Torque wrench heathens :p

Oh no...That's a jailable offense....Lock you up, throw away the key...Impound the car and crush it.

2nd thoughts....You're an older citizen and the chances of it every happening again are very remote, so we'll let you off the hook with a smack on the wrist.... :)

I don't check my speedo when overtaking, it's dangerous taking your eyes off the road whilst performing such a manoeuvre!

To my defence, I haven't had mine calibrated, so there is a distinct possibility it's accuracy may be questionable... :D
just get your arthritic elbow and shoulder calibrated and you’ll be right :p

Don't worry, I got up to 115 kph whilst going uphill with a campervan in tow overtaking a fecking combine harvester on the Bass Hwy yesterday, only because the person directly behind it dawdled when we got to the overtaking lane. :(

Shites me to tears at every single overtaking lane. Either the fukwit who has been dawdling along at 80kph figures out how to do 100kph as soon as the overtaking lane appears or the idiot immediately stuck behind them hops in the overtaking lane and dawdles along at 2kph faster than the car they are overtaking so only they get past and everyone else is still stuck behind. If we had speed cameras to prosecute both those type of people I’d be happy.

Yes, a special hate for the slow over-takers. I had one last time coming up out of Rotorua at the last overtaking lane so I was stuck behind the slow car for bloody ages.
