    Hi guys
I've got a VE Omega (3.6 4 speed auto) and have access to a VX LS1 with 6 speed T56 (complete car). What to know if I can and what's needed to do the LS1 drive train conversion into the VE?
    Cheers

    Short answer: No.

Long answer: VE never came with an LS1, none of the VX looms, electronics, ECU, ancillaries, k-frame, tail shaft etc... will be compatible.

Reasonable answer: sell omega, buy SS. Save money, save time. They're not thin on the ground.

If you can't do any of the work yourself then forget that whole idea altogether, even if u can you will have to chop up and custom make so many things for it all to fit it would be an absolute nightmare of a job.... Besides that isn't it illegal over there to put an engine that's older than the car in? As above if u want a v8 sell ur car and go buy an SS
