The Event 201 scenario

Event 201 simulates an outbreak of a novel zoonotic coronavirus transmitted from bats to pigs to people that eventually becomes efficiently transmissible from person to person, leading to a severe pandemic. The pathogen and the disease it causes are modeled largely on SARS, but it is more transmissible in the community setting by people with mild symptoms.

The NZ government has a pandemic plan based loosely on the SARS outbreak a few years ago so there was planning and preparation for such an event as this. It is a shame that although the plan was initially developed by the National government of the day, it is now the National party that is doing the scaremongering when at this point NZ has the situation reasonably well in hand with only 5 confirmed cases, no new suspected cases and all tests performed in the last few days been negative and with travel restrictions and quarantine requirements from others locations in place for the worst effected countries a major outbreak seems less likely at this point.

One question my boy did ask, what ever happened to the protests in Hong Kong.....

Pisses me off also, that our Mediterranean Cruise got shîtcanned. We had to cancel the trip and reschedule to some other trip.

Watch, this crap got everybody loosing their "shît" (pun intended) over a virus that is not more dangerous than Influenza. I am not afraid of this, what got me worry is the people overreaction and the Gov crap-o-la meassures.

Well hopefully this is the event that turns the tide. NZ medical professionals have called out the media and politicians (here's looking at you National party) to stop scaremongering and sensationalising the issue. What we need is good clear info and facts to help combat this virus. We are coming into the flu season so it's going to be a double whammy is we get an outbreak here and distinguishing between the flu and covid 19 is hard. Right now good hygeine practices and making some sensible choices is the best course of action.

In the begining, kind of took the bait. After watching how is developing and what the numbers are based on statistics, is nothing to really be scared of. People with weak immune systems could be fatal but, if you are healthy, you should be ok.

One curious thing that I heard is called Chaga Mushrooms. These shrooms has the ability to prevent any virus from spreading in your body. Most people put their faith on the man with a Lab Coat but a lot of pharmaceuticals comes from natural stuff. For example, Statins, cholesterol meds comes from a fungi.

Apparently, if you do a Chaga Mushroom tincture, you will not even catch a cold. Some that inhibit the virus from attaching to a cell to replicate itself. Your antibodies, takes care of the critter.

But what I know.... they all come with some "Vaccination" to cure it all. Ask Bill Gates, he knows about Ebola and the vaccinations in Africa.

The part that I strongly disagree is the Flu Shot. Here is main stream media doc talking about it.
