I'm looking to fit a "Whiteline" strut brace in my VK with the VT front brake upgrade & a cold air tray.

Has anyone done this before??? More worried about the clearance with the VS booster????

.. won't fit
is the simple answer

the booster/master is in the way if you go towards the firewall
and the tray is in the way if you aim it forward

I ditched the cold air tray on the race car (it did SFA for speed)
and I now run the brace forward ..

which is better in my opinion anyway... (from working on the theory
of box construction)

A straight one fits fine. Dont know about the air intake though.

straight? .. not with a V8!
air cleaner gets in the way.. or you cannot close the bonnet if you install it to go
over the carb air cleaner

You could get really tricky and have an engineering shop make one up to your own design. Be just a matter of bring a straight section out on the booster side to clear then tucking in around the back of the cold air tray.

I had no idea about the carb engine, i know straight misses the EFI version though ;)
