    Hi Guys,

Is anyone running Flowmasters on their 304's?

I'm thinking of making the switch from crappy Redbacks but wanted some feedback on whether they sound decent on a Holden as I've only ever heard them on yank tanks.

    Cheers

Years ago an acquaintance had twin Flowmasters on a 308, it sounded awesome but it was bloody LOUD and noway near legal. I think they were 40 series and dumped at the diff. I'm planning on the same setup but maybe with 50 series muffles just to tone it down (a touch).

I'm keen to see (or rather hear) what you think of them?

Pretty sure the original flowmaster 40's were damn loud.

I'm looking at the super 40 or the delta 40 at the moment as they seem pretty mid range.

I still have a round 6" wide resonator at the back which should cut whatever I put on there a bit, but yeah my main concern is it being too loud for the street.

The Flowmasters in my opinion just have an overall great note on V8's, more of that old school burble than the magnaflows etc.

I'm undecided between the 40 and 50 delta flow mufflers.

Keen to hear it also as I've been considering the 40 delta for a few weeks.

Also is there a recommended mounting potion if anyone knows the techinal side as there's mixed reviews on the net.

I have room mid and rear on my ute for them.
