It's a big cost to close down surprised they didn't sell the rights to a importer company and network.
My VF SS has 6600kms on it at this rate should last until no fuel so I'm all good.
Sounds like a leak somewhere
12/09 Berlina 232000kms all original chains small rattle at start up but runs great no oil burn/ leaks.
$6109 so $6500ish.
The photo makes it look a lot better than it was. Front bushes flogged out several dash trim items not fitting that good
Looked at this other day states 124000kms but wear and tear on seat dash power steering leaks and rear main seal and gearbox give me the 250k...
And they pay there workers f all. Never support them.
$1.21.9 at one servo $1.73.9 2 KMs up the road in Adelaide for 91 unleaded. Someone gouging big time OTR( one the run) in South Australia.
Zb resale prices are bad sub 20k already
You,LL love the VF but you'll miss the simplicity of the VY wish I still had my SV8
Had our VE once in a blue moon the a/C wasn't cold. Just turned car off and restart and all good 229k now still nice and cold.
Get the code off the box and match it, stupid Holden made running changes and different sensor plugs etc that don't match
Yep there's 3 somehow mine were bent giving slop and thud sound
Check drive line bolts I bent a few in my VE and got the same thud issue
Holden really struggle with the fleet sales. Misses runs a national fleet of 150 trucks cars, 90% are ford because of there discount and service...
Car auctions are so odd it's not funny. Buying a px2 ranger as Sa govt auctions ex SA water had my eye on a few found a good one late 15 model...
Geez that's cheap, ex NSW cop cars with 115 to 120km are 26 to 28k at auctions
It's all personal having owned 5 VE,s still have 2 have always enjoyed the steering handling, my VF2 SS just not that connected feel like the VE
How old is the current lancer platform
229k and 5w30, didn't like the 5w 40 in winter
Engine light on the stretched code up. I've heard of a few 3l VFS having issues
We just had an awesome experience with Holden regarding our TM Barina.
The ‘beast’ did an oil cooler and required part to be replaced- rad hoses,...
12/09 Berlina dual fuel 228000kms serviced every 7500kms original chains small rattle at cold start. Mates 2012 sv6 ex rental car bough through...

What's people's getting out of there
Tuned boxes, our VE series one AFM l76 had done a easy 80k when we sold it guy after us got it tuned box...
Never driven a Vf2 V8 auto in tuned form, the ford performance mode thingy is all automated, adapts to your driving style.
VE steering way better than Car feel
Ever driven a zf way ahead of a STOKE GM 6 pd, even tuned not a match a tuned zf is a gun
You'd be first person I've heard prefers the GM auto over the ZF, that's one area Holden's been behind for a long time.
Quite a few directors and magnums popped up after the so called sold out reports. Mainly dealers trying to get more $$$ think it backfired a lot....
Made to many and overpriced
Electric or hydrogen will be the option. People will soon start with cyber truck upgrades etc
I live an hr North Adelaide lots of open countryside driving enjoying V8 for overtaking ha ha, my Vf2 will last me to the end of petrol
It's funny I'm watching my mother in law struggling to get in her little SUV shitbox, gets in the commodore easy, getting out a bit harder though....
In the modern times I don't understand the small SUV buying they don't have grunt fuel economy is AVG and handling is AVG, rather a commie any day
Monaros CV8 still pull big $$$
Hell yeah and a few had the 195 engine option to help a little
Would love a 5l 195kw VT SS manual but hard to find
